Ibrahim Said has been working with clay since he was a child. He has participated in workshops and demonstrations throughout the Middle East, and has been highly recognized for his technical ability, creativity, and innovation in the field of ceramics. In the USA he was an Artist in Residence at the Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA and STARworks Enterprises in Star, NC. His work is in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Center of Islamic Art in Kuwait, Museum of Modern Art in Cairo, Egypt, and the Kalamazoo Institute of Art, among others. Ibrahim is currently adjunct faculty in ceramics at UNC Greensboro.
